Terms and Fees

Payable on the Commencement the Booking (employment or use of the Chef by the Client or by any third party to whom the Chef has been introduced by the Client) the booking fee (payable to MyChef) and Chef rates (payable to the chef directly) are calculated as follows:

The Fees relate to each Booking of a minimum of 6 hours or any part thereof per day. If the Booking is extended for an additional day, an additional Fee of £50.00 is payable for each following day.

The Fee shall be payable within 14 days of the date of the Agency’s invoice, which will be rendered at any time on or after the date of Booking Commencement.

Where applicable, VAT is charged at the standard rate on all fees.

CANCELLATION

If, after a Booking Confirmation has been made, the Client decides for any reason to cancel or postpone the relevant Booking, the Client shall immediately notify the Agency.

If the Agency receives such notification not less than 48 hours prior to the time at which the relevant Booking was due to commence (as specified in the relevant Booking Confirmation) no Fee or Cancellation Fee is payable.

If the Agency receives such notification less than 48 hours prior to the time at which the relevant Booking was due to commence (as specified in the relevant Booking Confirmation) the Client shall pay a
Cancellation Fee equal to what the Fee would have been.

SUITABILITY CHECKS

The Agency shall use reasonable endeavours to ensure the suitability of Chefs proposed to fill each Booking by taking reasonably practicable steps to:

Ensure that the Booking would not be detrimental to the interests of either the Client or the Chef

Ensure that both the Client and Chef are aware of any requirements imposed by law or by any professional body: and confirm that the Chef is willing to satisfy the Booking.
